End User License Agreement (EULA) for Cook A Dish

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and the developers of Cook A Dish ("we," "us," or "our") for the use of the Cook A Dish recipe management application ("Application"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.

Community Standards and Content Moderation

Cook A Dish is a community-based application where users share recipes and cooking content. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all users. By using this Application you agree to the following community standards:

• You will not post objectionable, offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or abusive content of any kind
• You will not harass, bully, intimidate, or abuse other users
• There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior
• Objectionable content will be immediately removed upon detection or report
• Users who violate these standards will be permanently banned from the platform
• All users have the ability to block recipes and users they find objectionable — blocked content is immediately removed from the blocking user's experience
• All reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours
• Cook A Dish reserves the right to remove any content and ban any user at its sole discretion without prior notice

1. License Grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes, free of charge, in accordance with the terms of this EULA.

2. No Warranty

The Application is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Application will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your expectations or requirements.

3. Creator Content & User-Generated Content Policy

Creator Content refers to all recipes, photos, comments, ratings, and any other material that users ("Creators") author and share within the Application. Creator Content is treated as user-generated content (UGC) under Apple App Store Guideline 1.2.1 and must comply with all moderation requirements outlined in this EULA.

You agree not to use the Application for any illegal, unlawful, or abusive activities, including but not limited to:

• Engaging in any activity that violates local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
• Posting, sharing, or distributing objectionable content, including but not limited to content that is offensive, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, pornographic, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Engaging in abusive behavior, including harassment, bullying, or intimidation of other users.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Application.
• Using the Application in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality or interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Application.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable Creator Content and abusive users. Any violation will result in immediate removal of the content, termination of your access, and may lead to further action, including reporting to relevant authorities.

4. Content Moderation and User Reporting

We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all users. The Application includes the following mechanisms to moderate Creator Content in compliance with App Store Guideline 1.2.1:

• Content Filtering: Automated and manual moderation tools detect and prevent posting of objectionable Creator Content before it becomes visible.
• Block Recipe: From any recipe's action menu (⋮), a user may block a recipe they find objectionable. Upon doing so, that recipe is immediately removed from the user's view — both from their personal cookbook and from the community recipe feed. The report is submitted to our back-office, where an administrator will investigate and determine whether further action is required.
• Block User: From any recipe's action menu (⋮), a user may block the recipe's creator. Upon doing so, all recipes belonging to that creator are immediately removed from the blocking user's community recipe feed. The report is submitted to our back-office, where an administrator will investigate and determine whether further action is required, up to and including permanent removal of the Creator's account.
• Response Time: All reports are reviewed and acted upon within 24 hours. Violating content is removed and the responsible Creator may be ejected.

5. Age Rating

The Application's age rating reflects the highest age-rated Creator Content available within the community. The Application is currently offered free of charge with no in-app purchases.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Application at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice, and for any reason we deem appropriate — including but not limited to violation of this EULA, posting prohibited Creator Content, abusive behavior toward other users, or any other conduct we consider harmful to the Application or its community. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete any copies in your possession.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Application, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developers of Cook A Dish are based, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to this EULA

We may update this EULA from time to time. Changes will be posted within the Application or on our website and become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
